Nyrie Sarkissian
Tax Guru
Nyrie Sarkissian is the founder of TPAGG and a trusted tax strategist for business owners, investors, and individuals with complex financial lives. Since beginning her tax career in 2007, Nyrie has built a practice grounded in accuracy, strategy, and long-term client relationships — not volume-based tax preparation.
Early in her career, Nyrie became known as the “Tax Guru” for her work with self-employed professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs. She quickly recognized that many taxpayers were overpaying simply because they lacked guidance, planning, and an advocate who understood both the tax code and the realities of running a business. That realization shaped her approach: tax preparation should never stand alone — it should be part of a broader financial strategy.
In 2017, Nyrie founded Tax Prep A-Go-Go with a clear vision: a boutique firm focused on proactive tax planning, entity strategy, and year-round financial oversight. Today, TPAGG provides integrated services including business entity formation, bookkeeping, payroll, compliance, and both personal and business tax preparation. Nyrie specializes in working with clients who have investment income, real estate holdings, and closely held businesses, offering customized bundled services designed to reduce tax liability and support sustainable growth.
Nyrie is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, where she earned a BA in Business Administration with double minors in Economics and Finance. She is licensed to prepare federal and state tax returns across nearly all U.S. states and territories, and is CTEC certified, licensed, and bonded.
She was also the first TaxAct Professional Champion, where she served as a brand ambassador for TaxAct Professional Software. In this role, Nyrie spoke at professional engagements, hosted educational seminars, and contributed written content focused on tax education and best practices.
Nyrie is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers (NATP). She is actively involved in her community and supports arts education and nonprofit organizations, including The CSUN Arts Council, as well as philanthropic organizations such as the San Fernando Valley Mission, National Public Radio, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
At the core of Nyrie’s work is a genuine commitment to her clients and a deep respect for the responsibility they place in her. She cares deeply about the people and businesses she works with and takes pride in being an active part of her clients’ financial “team” — not just a tax preparer, but a long-term strategic partner. Nyrie believes the best results come from collaboration, clarity, and consistent engagement, and she approaches every client relationship with diligence, care, and a long-term perspective.
